This is a poem I wrote to my Girlfriend. Please don't be all "Oh how generic." Or "Too Sappy" leave it at what it is. There are a couple things in the poem that only she would get so if you are a bit confuse by a line, that is why. Enjoy<3 (PS: If anyone wants me to post her reply poem, just tell me) _____________________________

We started this dream on December Second. It was on that day that you beckoned. I held you dear from that point forward, is my confession. I enjoyed every second of our little session.

My roof was a frequent spot. We went there quite a lot. Even the cold didn't drive us away. If it was, I'd hold you anyway.

Goodbye kisses, turn my day into perfection. What can I say, it's my only reflection. And so you came to my attention. Different, yet same, with no direction.

Hot cider still upon your lips. The distant feel of winter before it comes and flips. They called them butterflies, I called them ships. Sailing inside me, on an ocean of myself. I couldn't really take them or put them on a shelf.

Let's run away to neverland. And rest our head upon its sand. Don't look back, just hold my hand You're anything but bland.

So upon your dainty curls May I lose myself forever and forget the world? Pull the lever, shut the gate Keep me in this happy state, it really is quite great.

I hope you enjoyed these words After all, I'm a bird I miss you here on this island So blow me a kiss from off in the highland Now sleep well darling, After all, you're a lion snarling.
