Chapter 3 <~>

When we woke up, in the morning, there were parcels for each of us. "Has Christmas come early?" I joked. "No Sienna! These are of your father!" exclaimed mum, taking me way too seriously. "Where-" I began. "Right now he's exercising the horses," she continued, reading my mind. "Let's open em!" Jenny said as mum walked into the kitchen. "No! We must wait for dad!" I exclaimed folding my arms. "Why aren't they open?" asked mum coming back in, with glasses of orange juice for us all. The twins smirked at me and ripped open the green tissue paper. Inside was a- personalised- ski helmet, suit, boots and ski's. For me it was a dream- the twins seemed surprisingly happy too! Later that day we went to Miranda and Toby's house/mansion. They lived about 30 miles out, in a new village. When we arrived we asked them if they could mind the farm. "Well, I guess it could work," winked Miranda. "Yay! I love Cici's horse!" giggled Bethany. They had 2 children: Bethany (aged 4) and Leroy (aged 14). "Not in my room!" Penny exclaimed. Last time, Beth slept in the twins' room and peed on the floor. Now it's stained... I saw a tear form in Bethany's eye- time to save the day! "You can sleep in my room, Betthy!" I smiled. She grabbed Leroys arm and looked at me, pleadingly. "Ok! Leroy can sleep in my room as well! But he had better not do a wee on the floor!" this made Beth giggle and made Leroy go red in the face. "Aww! Are you such a baby you have to sleep with your big brother?" Penny asked with a slight lisp. "Shut up!" Leroy shouted, cradling his sister in his arms. The twins didn't like Leroy- but what's new? The adults chatted for a while and me, Beth and Leroy went outside. "Swings!" Beth shouted running up the garden. "We need an automatic swinger we do, Sienna!" Leroy chuckled. We were the same age but he was deffinatley more grown up that me! "Yeah," I replied lamely- blushing. After a few pushes Beth got bored and ran inside, to get a drink. "Come up here Sienna," Leroy smiled, pointing. I had kind of developed a crush on him... "Er," I began. Before I could say anymore, he had my wrist and was plying me to a crowded part of the garden- where they had made a den. It was beautiful! There were cushions and rugs and a mini fridge! "Hi," he smiled handing me a coke. "Hey," I replied.
