Dear diary,
Polly phoned this morning, twice! I was allowed to answer both times!
Also today my Grandma Eliza ( who I'm named after ) came on a visit. She lives in the countryside, so is stopping over for a few nights.
I like Grandma, because she spoils me real good. She says it's because she really wanted a girl, but had father instead and then couldn't have anymore children. She bought me a beautiful evening dress to wear to Mattie's welcome party. Oh yes and for Matt; she got him a nice set of three ties, placed in a box with his name engraved on the lid. I didn't tell her, nor did mum, but Matthew hates ties!
I got to stay in the living room all day today! Just so I could welcome Eliza! No school! Yay!
I'm really missing my brother so have started to count down the days: six! Oh how I miss him. I knitted him a new pair of socks, to wear when he goes back to school. I hope he likes them...
Got to go now. Father is shouting me to help lay the table. "Coming daddy!"
I think I shall write again on the day Matt comes back. That is unless some thing good happens before...
