Chapter 23 ~
"Calm Miss," smiled a young officer. I took the remaining kids back home along with Tommy. "Lazon gone?" Asked Lola. "No! She howiday!" Smiled Noah. "Ok!" I said to them. We walked home and opened the door. I put Pixie in her downstairs cot and turned on the TV for the other two. I got out Toms food and he ate appreciatively. I patted his head. "Daddy daddy!" Screamed Noah. "Daddy!" Echoed Lola. I ran in. "What?" I asked. "Mumma on da tewy!" said Noah pointing to a news reporter. She was stood at the nursery next to Miss Elms and Poppy. I got Pixie out of her cot and we sat down and watched. "We are the crime seen where Miss Poppy Marks' daughter Lauren was kidnapped. Lauren was triplets and had a sister called Lola and a brother called Noah. She was taken as she walked out of school. Possibly raped as police found her underwear along with a knife and a passport for Terrance Dakota. Police have done a search and have found that he is a resistant of Africa and is married to Tulip. Everyone is doing the best they can so if you know the family, show some respect at the bravery! Over to Ted in the studio!" Smiled the reporter like she had just announced the weather. "What raped mean?" Asked Lola. "Dunno!" Noah smiled. "She kwidnapped not howiday liar!" Shouted Lola. "Not! She in Kwidnapafornia which is near Cawifornia! Right daddy!" He beamed. "Bed, B E D!" I bellowed making them cry. It made Pixie cry too. I heard Poppy come through the door. She was holding Lauren! "Wha?" I asked. "Yeah! She was found thrown in an alleyway totally nude. Good job she hadnt started her period or else we'd be in trouble!" Poppy smiled as she gave me Lauren and I gave her Pixie. The triplets all shared a room and I apologised whilst I got Lauren dressed. They all played with Tom and I went to Poppy. "Yeah... Poppy? I need to talk about Lauren... She started her period when she was 15 months... Sorry," I whispered. "Oh hell no!" Shouted Poppy. We were in for a bumpy ride.
