"Home To The Criminally Insane"
"Do I? Do you?" Dr. Jasper said with a smirk. "I am after all a doctor, who may have or may not have made a few mistakes and lost more patients than neccessaary. I was currently fired for sneaking out supplies, I experiment myself Mr. Blair. Your father was a smart man. He's taught Tressa many tricks I've found useful." He paused, his green eyes locked on Daniel. "I'm not asking to be paid, I'm asking to be apart of Amity Asylum."
Daniel still sat in his staightjacket staring at the empty white walls.
"Answer my question Doctor, do you or do you not know what it's like to kill someone?" Daniel whispered manically.
The doctor let out a sigh and smiled at Daniel, "Yes, the anger, the rage, the power and the blood. We all crave it here and this our feeding ground. We're the predators and the patients will never be missed!" He said hysterically.
Daniel looked at him amused, "You've got the job, but I'll make this clear, you listen to me & Maxwell and don't do anything we don't approve first. One warning Doctor, or you can visit the ossuary and my father. Clear?"
Dr. Jasper stood tall and silent and nodded. "I like you Mr. Blair." He said with a demented smile. "And yes you have my word." He assured.
"Good. You're aware you'll be living here now? When are you ready to start?" Daniel asked.
"Yes. Now." Dr. Jasper immediately replied. "Just give me your orders and I'll be on my way."
"Get working on the left wing of the hospital, Maxwell has the keys, he'll help you and once that's done we can keep moving in the criminally insane and expand our... selection." Daniel ordered. "Genius. One last question before I get to work? Are um... pets allowed Mr. Blair?" Dr. Jasper asked, his hands clenching his coat.
"Pets?" He asked surprised and half disgusted. "Pet. He's an experiment I've been working on and he was my only means of testing my ideas but now it seems I have access to something better. He may look frightening, he's a wolf but I promise you I can keep him under control. Please Mr. Blair, I won't ask for another favor. If he misbehaves I'll put him down first thing I promise." Dr. Jasper begged.
"Keep it chained up down below & I don't want to hear anyone say they heard it or saw it or it'll cost you your job, so if you're confident enough it'll do what you say and not ruin this for you then fine Doctor, but you've already heard my warning. Now get to work and tell Tressa I'd like to speak with her please after she shows you where you can find Maxwell. This is your home now Doctor and the patients aren't the only criminally insane, Maxwell is far off the deep end, I won't warn you twice, but I trust your a man of your word and you can handle this."
Dr. Jasper nodded and said, "Thank you." His boots making heavy thuds every step to the door and at last the click of the lock as the padded room fell back into silence.
