Had a bit of a catch up With friends of old Had a couple of drinks And our stories we told
Forgot how long it had been Since I'd sat with my friends We normally catch up With Facebook sends
We only went local So we could sit and talk The pub round the corner So everyone could walk
As soon as we arrived We started to laugh The stories took us all Down memories path
It really was so good To go out with the girls They are so precious My string of friendship pearls
