We sat in the garden having a chat, My sister had come to stay. Then came the call, hit like a bat! My husband rushed away!

Hello daughter how are you? We've just had pimms and beer, Not so good sorry to say, Dad I need you here!

She wanted to clean the garden up Decided to burn the wood, Next door said he would help, And it was going good!

She had a mattress had to go, But it was heavy and wet so on the fire it went as well And petrol he went to get!

As he threw it on the fire The flames decided to track, The trail of fiery liquid Up to the can and back?

It made him start, he threw the can, More petrol began to spill All over her and flames too, She can see it still?

She shouted out I'm on fire! Her clothes, they had to go, No thought of embarrassment, Her body all a glow!

At the hospital they patched her up, The best that they could do, Her hand is very blistered And her side is burnt too!

She was very lucky Things could have been much worse! She only had a few burns And we didn't need a hurst?
