When I was five,

I wanted to be forever alive,

When I was ten,

I wondered if humans had the lifespan of a hen,

When I was fifteen,

I wondered if I would have the longest life ever seen,

When I was twenty,

I wanted to live to seventy,

But now Im thirty,

I see life will be as long as life is,

And I can not choose how long I live.
