I awaken the dawn light glimmering. I sing my song and others join in obliviously awake as well but not many it is slightly before sunrise after all. I fluter down onto the grass below the tree where I slept in. I tap my beak on the ground and soon a worm comes out of its little home underground. I gobble it up before it sees me. I fly to the stream about a mile away and drink. The dawn light bounces of the water and I think to myself 'Today will be a good day, I never want it to end.' I fly about in the dawn light watching my brothers and sisters awake and watch the world go slowly by.
