As I walk down the isle I gulp down my fear and let the thoughts in my head whizz round. The music plays loudly in my ears. I focus on the happy thoughts. I see his face. I thought that would calm me down, that I would realise I wanted nothing more in the world but it just set me on edge. He looked so happy. I must look so tense and worried. I must look happy, for him, even if I'm not. I feel my lips form a smile and my eyes soften. I look a Daniel and feel a tear come to my eye, I hold it back and pretend it was a tear of joy. I cling to my fathers arm dreading the moment I will have to let go. I cant turn back now can I. As the music stops I let go of my fathers arm but hold his hand for a while. "We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Drew Texas and Daniel Mikes. " calls out the vicar. As we both say our vows the vicar finally asks me,"Drew Texas, do you take Daniel Mikes to be your lawfully wedded husband?" I hesitate my smile fading as I look down into the depths of the wooden floor I stand on. I take a step back,"No" I whisper shaking my head. "I'm so sorry Dan, I love you I really do but I'm to young, and my life is... Dangerous." I start to back away and finally turn and run back down the isle dropping my bouquet of white lilies and sprint out of the door...
