You live your life and I'll live mine,
We don't have to talk about the past,
Or try to make things right,
We can stop hurting each other,
Get out of the mess we made.

But nothing has changed,
I loved you then and I love you still,
You feel the same I know,
Situations were wrong and timing not right,
But the two us were meant to be.

So one day i hope you'll come back,
And we'll live life together once more,
No cares about the past,
Nor worries about the future,
Just us in the right time, right place, right life.
