A second chance is a second chance
Just that, nothing more.
It is a privilege, a generosity of heart and spirit not to be taken lightly.
A trust, not an entitlement.
Never let a second chance become a third, or a fourth or 'one more chance' or 'one last chance'.
At that point you are letting yourself, your trust and your dignity be abused.
