*Zayden's P.O.V.*
When I walked into her room, Ash's mom was up and looking out her window. She spun around and looked at me. "What has the world come too?," she asked. "The end," I replied. She frowned then sat down on the edge of the bed. She waved for me to sit next to her. I walked in and took a seat next to her. She reached to her dresser and opened it, with drawing a small box. It was small and made of the black velvet stuff. "You know Zayden, I've always liked you," she said, "and you may not realize it but you make my daughter so very happy." Zayden was trembling on the inside. "I want you to take this and when the time is right, you'll know what to do," She said. He opened the box and inside of it was a beautiful diamond ring. He hugged her tightly. "You don't know how much this means to me," he said hugging her tightly. She smiled and hugged him back. "Keep her safe," she said pulling away. "I promise I will, for the rest of my life." "I just wish Jeremy could be here," she said crying, "He'd love you." She smiled. Just then Ash came in and ran to her mother. She wrapped in a huge hug. "It's about time you woke up!," she said. I sent a silent prayer up to heaven because I had no clue what to say to her mother about her husband, Jeremy. We all got up and went to the living room. We spent the rest if the night watching the news and eating pizza. All I could think about was the box in my pocket and how happy it would make me to ask her right now but right now wasn't a good time. As she fell asleep in my arms I kissed her forehead.
