Today is national poetry day,
So here's one to you from I,
Live your life big and bold
There's no time for being shy
Have fun with all endeavours
And always recall your roots
Keep family close to heart and mind
Don't get too big for your boots
People are swept off too easy
Into the glitz and glam of fame
So remember those who got you here
Life without them's not the same
Today is national poetry day

People are dumb and act as one
