"Ouch, what was that for?" I screamed whilst rubbing the back of my head.
Sylvie bent down and picked up the trowel with a smile on her face. She snorted at herself.
"Whoops, my bad." Sylvie giggled and threw some weeds at me. "Whoops again!"
I didn't react. I sat on the gate watching her doing all the hard work. My mind went back to the golden grass and how is danced in the wind. The sound of clicking broke me from my daydream.
"Oi, your the lazy one! Mum calls me lazy! What have you done apart from look like a weirdo up on that gate. Did that trowel to the head damage something?" Sylvie joked and continued to throw weeds at me "put all the weeds in that bucket."
I began to wonder if the trowel did do something to my head, I was certain it didn't and began putting the heap of weeds into the grey metal bucket. Rubbing the back of my head, I looked over at Sylvie.
"You are not seriously thinking that the trowel did you any damage are you?" Sylvie said peering over her shoulder waving the trowel around.
"Course not." I muttered.
"Liar! Sorry I threw a harmless trowel at the back of your melon head." Sylvie apologised whilst holding out her one free hand "Come on its getting dark, I do not want to be outside when it's dark."
"Me neither." I grabbed her hand and we ran home , buckets clanging.
