"Hey Girls. How I have missed you!" my father spoke into my hair.

"Dad!!!" Sylvie screeched as she dropped an empty pan.

"Lucky that was empty." my mother muttered as she picked it up.

Sylvie ran into Fathers free arm and he squeezed us tight.

"What's this I smell?" Father asked as he gazed at the oven.

"Me and Emeress cooked tea tonight. Omelette with steamed vegetables and a baked potato." Sylvie explained as she pointed out the food. "Please sit and I will dish up the food. Emeress will pour the drinks!"

Father and Mother sat and exchanged a glance of proudness.

I walked in between mother and father. "We are serving Red Wine, Fresh Orange or Milk. What will it be?" I politely asked.

"Fresh Orange please." Mother ordered.

"Red Wine please." Father said whilst he watched Sylvie plate up the omelettes. Balancing the wine glass on my wrist and the half a pint glass on my other wrist, I hobbled over to the table. Gently, I placed their drinks back to the left of the fork.

"Here." Sylvie said as she brought over the plates to our place mats on the table. I sat. When I looked down, I swear I drooled all over it. The omelette was equally folded in half, the steamed vegetables were piled in high mounds and the baked potato was sliced in half, seasoned perfectly. Yummy. I grabbed my folk and shoveled down a forkful of potato.
