The left road was busy. Heads were bobbing around and I couldn't see anything, but this didn't hide the fact I could smell coffee. Everyone was taller than me, so I followed my nose. A good 7 minutes later I found the coffee shop. It wasn't a decent one and it reminded me of the foul smelling fast food shop I was just in. I walked in and glanced around the front dining room. Shabby was the first word that came to mind. Realising that I hadn't even checked my pockets, I began to scrabble around in my back pockets. I found a five pound note, a ten pound note, a metro transport card and a necklace. I rang the bell. A tall man emerged from the back room.
"What will it be love?" he asked as he looked out of the window.
"Urm... One tea please." I ordered as I read the menu above his head.
"Right. Gimme' two ticks love." he muttered still looking out of the window, he winked but not at me, turned around and began pulling levers on a fancy machine. I too turned around, looked for a table and when I found one I sat down.
