This is the sequel to Lizards. Based about a year later.
Amber walked though the forest cave, eager to meet her friends. She was at the other side, the wind met her hair and baffled her ears. She had a basket of cakes for all of them. Ho's family had to move away, family issues, but they let Raynay, Charmai and Hobnob move into their hut like thing. Amber jumped over a log, nearly making a cake fall out but she didn't notice she wanted to be there. She had heard news that Charmai was giving birth to a boy and girl. She was having twins!! Charmai had also married a nice man called Dave Nutmay. So that makes it Charmai Nutmay and Hobnob Nutmay. They still haven't thought of names for the twins. Raynays also in a relationship, nearly married, he's gonna propose soon. They don't have children and Raynay might move away to the other side of the forest to his fiancé Diana. Amber is going to see them off and to welcome the twins into the world. She suddenly stopped at the bend on which the wooden hut is. She knocked on the door, and waited. .... The door flung open but she saw Dave run into the sleeping area. She placed the basket on the spare table and was greeted by Hobnob. 'EO!!' He smiled happily as he shut the door and showed Amber to the living room. 'Davey sed Mamas 'Giving birth!'' Hobnob tried his best to sound it out but it sound weird. What can I do?? Amber thought, I need to keep him occupied. 'Wanna go pick some berry's??' She asked Hobnob, He loved picking berrys. And plus she could make some berry pie with him after!! 'Yay!!' He giggled as he wandered out the door. Amber left a note to Dave and Charmai. It read: Hį, Ćhārmâį àñd Dâvê. Hópè ît äłł ŵéñt ŵèłł. Ï'm tákīñg Hõbñõb òút, tô kéėp hím öčçúpįėd. Ŵë ärē gøíńg tö píçk bērrŷš äñd Į'łł mâkę å pīë āftër ŵīth Höbñòb. Bŷë, Ãmbēr. Charmai had taught her to write like that so she could understand it more. That was what the animals wrote. She walked after Hobnob and started to pick some berrys.
