There's some songs out there that I could swear were written just for me. The lyrics are so close to my life or the way I feel that it sometimes feels like the writer is inside my head. My laptop is full of my own lyrics and songs that when people stumble across them they try to guess what they refer to. As a singer I find the best way to express myself is through music, it's a major part of my life and I don't think I could ever give it up. The other part of my life is writing, so writing music seemed like the perfect plan!
When I'm in the studios (be it recording or training) it's like there is nowhere else on the earth I'd rather be. I'm completely in my zone and nothing can bring me down. It's one of the only things that I can do that makes everything else in my life just melt into the backround. Thank god for music, it's thanks to music that has made me the person I am today and I wouldn't change it for anything.
