Chapter Twenty Three
On The Rocks
"Caden can I come with you?" asked Serena. Caden let out a long sighed. "Fine,come on". Serena followed Caden to his bedroom.
As Caden lied down,he felt sleepier and sleepier. Before he fell asleep,Serena lied right next to him. She cuddled against his chest. She felt warmth,she felt safe,and She felt loved but soon she realized he hasn't forgave her yet. "He probably still loves me but he's really hurt". She thought. She knew she and him was on the rocks. She sighed and finally went to sleep.
The next morning,
Groaned and stretched, Caden looked aside him and saw Serena. He rolled his eyes and got up. Soon Serena woke. "Babe?" she called out. "Down here,by the way,the names Caden". He said by sounding really annoyed. Serena frowned. She went downstairs.
She saw that Caden eating waffles. "Can I have some?" she asked. "No and go home now" Caden said. "Caden why won't you let this go?" she asked while getting angry. "Let it go? Haha let it go? Serena you killed my best friend! You want me to just let it go?!" Caden said. He started raising his voice.
Serena's eyes turned red. "Oh so now you're mad at me right?" Caden said sarcastically. "You hurt my feelings!" Serena Shouted. Caden's eyes starts to well up with tears. "You mine also. You killed someone in front of me, you tried to hurt Gavin,you tried to hurt my little sister. Not only that, you were mean to Naomi. You...you killed my best friend. You hurt me more". Caden said as a tear shed from his left eye.
Serena's eyes began to be normal. Before she could say anything Caden yelled,"And I don't give a damn about how you feel bitch!" Then Caden ran upstairs and slammed his door. Serena fell to the floor on her knees and cried. She not only hurt Caden but also changed him. She realized she done more damaged than she thought. She was really on the rocks with him. She was always on the rocks with him because she kept doing everything wrong. "I'm such a stupid idiot" she thought. She began to turn pale. Her tears began to be bloody. She felt great sorrow.
Later that day,
Walking and thinking, Caden saw Naomi. "Naomi?" he called out. Naomi shot her head up. Caden gave her a weak smile. "Are you okay? You seem a little down" Naomi asked. Caden decided not to tell her the truth. "Oh it's nothing. Me and my girlfriend are just on the rocks that's all". Naomi nod her head. Somehow she felt like he was lying to her.
