Chapter Thirteen
Saved Me
"Yeah,I just never ever expected that from you" Tara said. Serena nodded. She sighed. She never meant to scare them. She looked outside and promised herself to never lose control again to anybody.
"Here I got you something babe" Caden said. He handed Serena a necklace. It had a heart on it and inside of it said,"I love you Serena". "Oh my gosh! Caden thank you so much" she said as she looked at it. Caden smiled and kissed her.
At Caden's house.
"Okay we'll play Go fish then. And then we'll Flash Light Tag" said Tara. After the games, Serena crossed her arms. "I never win at anything!" she said. Caden looked at her and said,"You won my heart". Serena blushed. "He's so sweet" she thought. "Hey we should all go to the beach tomorrow" Gavin said. Everyone agreed.
The next day at the beach,
"Look! Let's go climb those rocks Caden" said Gavin. We been here since 11:00 and it's 4:30,can we go now?" asked Tara. Gavin rolled his eyes and said,"Okay but first I wanna rock climb". "We'll wait here then" Serena replied. Caden and Gavin went to the rocks.
"So are you and Gavin back together?" Serena asked. Tara sighed and replied,"He said he would think about it. I'm pretty sure though he doesn't want me anymore".
"Dude look far we are from the ground" Gavin said. Caden look down and then loses his step. "Help!" he screamed. From far away,Serena could hear him. She and Tara dashed to the rocks. "Help Me!" Caden shouted. Serena and Tara run to the other side of the rock and went up. Serena looked down. "Caden grab my hand!"Serena yelled as she held out her hand. "I can't! I just can't of else I'll fall!" Caden shouted back. Serena's began to well up with tears. "Caden please! I love you!" "I can't or else I'll...die" he said softly. Serena pushed herself a little more to the edge. She managed to grab Caden's arms. She pulled as hard as she could and finally he was up. Gavin climbed to the top. "Bro are you okay?" he asked while catching his breath. "I-I th-think so..." Caden stuttered. Serena hugged him. Her lips quivered as she knew that she almost lost him. "Caden" she said. She was shaking. Caden hugged her tight. He sighed in relief.
