Chapter Four
How Long Is Forever?
"So,are you going to stick with this girl this time?" asked Caden. Gavin nodded. "I guess but there's like a lot of chicks out there though" he said. Caden smirked and said,"Well I'm pretty sure you got most of them Gavin and there's probably only a few for you now". Gavin laughed.
At school,
"Hey Caden". Someone called out. Caden turned around and saw Jarrett,who was his bully. He thought he should be nice and he would go away."You look nice today Jarrett" Caden said. Jarrett chuckled. "God made me handsome but what the hell happened to you Caden?" he said. Caden frowned and tried to walk away but then Jarrett grabbed him. "Meet me after school loser". Caden gulped.
"What the damnation are you talking about?" Jarrett said and then pushed Caden against the wall. "Help! Somebody help me!" Caden cried. "What a pu- Jarrett got cut off by someone saying,"Leave him the hell alone!". Jarrett turned his head around and saw Serena. Caden gasped and shook his head. Jarrett rolled his eyes. "Bitch" Jarrett mumbled. Soon he felt a strong grip on his shoulders. Serena shown her fangs. "Serena don't!" Caden yelled. Serena closed her mouth and let go of Jarrett. Jarrett rubbed his shoulders. "You Guys are weirdos" and with that he left. "Serena that was very dangerous" Caden said. Serena closed her eyes and sighed. "I know".
"It's been like a month and...we haven't even kissed Caden!" Serena said. Caden's eyes widen.
Serena bit her lips,"I wanna kiss you but I don't think I'll control myself" she said. "Well maybe I could" Caden suggested and then kissed her". Serena smiled and hugged him. "We are going to be together forever and ever!" she shouted. Caden gasped. Serena told him that she would probably live forever and he's human and won't live forever. They would love each other forever? They were only eighteen. This kinda scared Caden. Especially being in love with a vampire. "How long is forever?" He wondered but by accident his mouth repeated his mind and said,"How long is forever?"
