Chapter Thirty Three
Love Kills
Quickly and angrily,Gavin raced to the hospital. He was so nervous that he was sweating. He couldn't believe Serena didn't protect him. He was surely mad at her.
When he got to the hospital,
"Hi I'm here to see Caden,Caden Lancaster" Gavin said to the nurse. She showed him to the room. "Caden!" he said almost yelling. Caden looked weakly at him. "Gavin?" he asked. Gavin went over to him.
"I don't wanna stay here" Caden said sadly. "It's okay,you'll only stay here for three days Caden". Gavin replied. "Don't leave me okay?" Caden said. Gavin nodded.
Gavin went home after visiting hours. When he saw someone by the front door he simply knew who it was. "The hell are you doing here?" he yelled. Serena stood there in tears. "Gavin is he okay?" Serena asked. "Yeah he's fine. Leave!" he shouted. Out of nowhere,Tara came out. Tara wasn't pregnant,but was still stress.
"Don't talk to her like that". Gavin then had enough. "You know what? Both of you leave! I care about Caden. I ain't letting any of you bitches get of hold of him! Bye!" and with that Gavin stormed off inside of his house.
After three days
"So you feel better dude?" Gavin asked. Caden nodded. "I wanna see Serena" he said. Caden wondered how Serena felt. He hoped Serena was okay.
He went over her house,
He kept knocking but nobody answered so,he went through the window. As he saw Serena,he screamed. She was lying on the floor. Her red eyes were wide open,she was pale as a classroom's whiteboard, her hair was ripped and tangled,and her mouth was opened. There was blood on her fangs.
He bent down to her. He held her hand. He shivered as he looked at her face. As he got up,something tug on his ankle. He screamed in fear,"GAVIN!" Gavin was waiting in the car,he got out and ran.
Caden struggled to get free. "Let me go!" he yelled. He was in horror as he saw Serena's face. It looked ice cold. "Help!" he called out. Gavin grabbed his wrists and managed to win the tug war.
The next night,
Caden couldn't think of anything else but Serena's face. It looked so sad. Filled with a lot of sorrow. She looked so lonely. "Maybe she was lonely and wanted me to stay" Caden thought. Soon the news was on. It said that,a guy from his school was mysteriously killed. It was Jarrett.
The next week,
Caden walked around town in the dark. Soon he heard footsteps. It was Serena. "What?" he said under his breath. He was horrified. She had blood all over her. "Caden..." she said as she smiled. She took her jacket off that had blood on it, and ran to him. She gave him a big hug. "Serena..." Caden said shakily. He was still scared. "You killed Jarrett and his friends did you?" he asked. Serena shrugged. "Everyone who was picking on you" she said. Caden's eyes widen. The boys at gym. There had to be a least 18.
Caden stepped back from Serena. She really did that? For him? Somebody loves him that much to even kill for him? No this was a dream,no could ever do that for him would they? "I did it for y-you" she said. The words echoed in Caden's head over and over again.
