Chapter One
My Best Friend
Running and
smiling,Serena was racing with her best friend Tara. They have been friends since they were little kids. Serena knew everything about Tara and Tara well,she thought she knew everything about Serena. Serena always meant to tell Tara a dark secret of hers but she was afraid that Tara would be scared and run off. Serena knew she had to tell Tara.
One day,
"Tara, theres uh something I should tell you" said Serena. Tara cocked her head and asked "What is it?" Serena took a deep breath and closed and locked the door behind her. Tara gulped and shivered. Serena looked in Tara's eyes and said "Tara I'm...a...uh...a...vampire". Tara's eyes widened. Serena could tell Tara was trying not to laugh so she showed her,her fangs. Once Tara saw,she back away. "Tara please don't be afraid. I was like this my whole life,I just didn't know how to tell you". Tara looked at Serena for long time and then said,"Well,I guess Im...not...afraid. You are still my best friend" Serena felt relived. "Thanks Tara". They hugged. "Now remember you can't tell anyone about this alright?" said Serena. Tara nodded.
The next day,
"Yo Gavin!" Caden called out. Gavin turned around. "Hey Caden". Caden and Gavin were best friends always have and always will be or a least they thought.
"Wanna do something after school?" asked Caden. "What about tomorrow? Cause I have a date tonight" said Gavin. "Oh alright then" said Caden. Caden was a little disappointed cause him and Gavin hardly ever hung out like they use to. Gavin was so busy being a jerk and a player.
That after noon,
Caden was walking home alone. He felt lonely. Then he accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh I'm sorry,are you okay?" he asked. The girl nodded. "Okay good,sorry about that" he said. The girl giggled. "My name is Serena". She said. Caden smiled. "Hi nice to meet you Serena,my name is Caden". They both talked and talked. Soon it was getting dark. "Um I should probably get going..n-now said Serena. Caden looked around and agreed.
