Chapter Thirty Four
The Bloody Truth
"I-I got to go" Caden said. Serena frowned. "Alright" she said. Soon Caden turned around and started walking but soon it turned into running. He was too scared to stop. Soon he stopped.
He looked at the sky. Soon he heard footsteps. It was Serena. Again. She laughed. "Why run? If you're scared,it's okay,I'm right here. I wouldn't hurt you. If you choose to run I'll run after you". "Is that a threat or something?" Caden asked. Serena rolled her eyes. "Uh no?" Caden sighed. Serena could be sometimes annoying.
"Okay,I really have to go now. I'll see you later". Again Serena frowned. "Why aren't you being there for me?" she asked. Caden was confused. "What are you talking about?" "I'm saying that I was busy worrying about you!" Serena exclaimed.
"Really? I think you were more busy killing people than even taken the time and see if I was okay first" said Caden. "Well I-" "Yeah! There's nothing you can say about that" and Caden turned around and walked away.
"I never thought I find her so annoying" said Caden. "Girls are girls" replied Gavin. Gavin told Tara that it was over. Gavin actually felt relived when he did that.
That night,
Caden tried calling Naomi but she never picked up. He racked his hair with his fingers. "Trying to get a hold of her aren't ya?" Caden turned around quickly. It was Serena. "What the hell are you doing here?" he asked. "Am I not allowed to be here?" "You are but I just thought you'd knock first anyways, yes I am. I haven't talked to Naomi in while". Serena's eyes were red. "I want to talk to her" he said. "Why? Why fucking talk to her when you have me?" she yelled. "You aren't there for me" said Caden. Serena laughed. "There for you? I saved your life! When you decided to be stupid and climb that hill!" exclaimed Serena. "Yeah once. Do you remember how many times you also screwed up?" Caden asked.
"You know what? Fuck you then!" screamed Serena. She stormed out of the house,but expecting Caden to run after her but he didn't instead he said,"I was barley happy with you anyways..." After he said that, tears steamed down her face. He was right,he only screwed up once and she screwed up many times. She promised she never hurt him,but then there she goes hurting him.
"Why break up on Christmas eve?" he thought." Oh well its not that bad to get out of relationship before the holiday" he thought. Was everything going to be okay tomorrow? Will it be that special normal Christmas day? Nothing could go wrong. His family was coming down to see him. His mom and his dad and sister Kassandra. They would stay for a week. It should be fun. Everything should be just fine.
On Christmas day,
"I'm so glad to see you guys" said Caden. "And we are glad to see you Caden. We missed you very much. How's our Gavin doing also?" asked his mom Suzanne. "He's doing just fine. His family is also visiting him". Kassandra ran to Caden and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Caden smiled. "I love you Kass" "I love you too".
After a week when they went home,
"I miss my family already" Caden said. "Me too but it's nice to just go on your own. Make your own choices. It's freedom!" said Gavin. Caden started laughing.
"Serena hasn't been talking to me for the whole week" said Caden. Naomi raised an eyebrow. "Hmm maybe she's still upset to do anything" she said. Caden nodded but had a feeling that something wasn't right. Where was she when she didn't try to win him back? Where was she when she disappeared. Then the idea finally hit Caden. Serena got mad at Gavin and tried to hurt him. When he told her,that Naomi was flirting with him,he caught Serena at her house. When Caden was at the hospital,there has been twenty two murders. Eighteen boys that hurt Caden. Excluding,Jarrett and his three friends. This could only mean one thing,she wasn't just a vampire but a blood sucking vampire.
He drove to her house, and got off quickly. He looked in the house through the window. He screamed. He saw the bloody truth.
