Chapter One
The Other Side Of Her
"Yeah okay I'll see you later then" said Ginger. She was just done talking to her best friend Rebekah. She was acting strange lately and Ginger wondered why. Rebekah was mostly talking to another girl name Maxine. She was feeling replaced and that's why she called her.
At Ginger's house.
"So whatcha wanna talk about?" Rebekah asked. "Well you been acting strange. Is there anything wrong?" said Ginger. Rebekah bit he lips.
As thoughts ran through her mind. She couldn't tell Ginger that she robbed someone last weekend. She couldn't let her know that she was unfaithful. Tears welled in her eyes. She gritted and her teeth and lied,"My parents are fighting". Ginger frowned. Something told her,she was lying. "Are you sure? I'm always here For you Rebekah" she said. Rebekah smiled, she loved how loving and caring Ginger was. "Yes I'm sure". She hugged Ginger tightly. She cared so much about Ginger. She could never let her go. "I love ya Ginger" she said. "I love ya too".
"I know she's seventeen and I'm only fourteen but still she's my best friend mom. You didn't mind it when we were little so why mind it now?" said Ginger. Her mother sighed. She didn't mind much about the age, but she had a bad feeling about Rebekah.
The next day,
"So watcha wanna do today doll?" asked Rebekah. Ginger became confused. "Doll? Best friends call each other that? Yeah? Weird. I don't think so. Or even sisters don't call each other that. Ginger thought. She shrugged it off and said "Um I don't know anything you wanna do" she replied.
Rebekah realized what she said. She bit lips. She had strange feelings while she around Ginger but couldn't put her finger on it. She just thought it was probably because Ginger didn't know about her dark side. Maybe that's what it was. "Let's go to the movies" she suggested. Ginger cocked her head. "At 11:00 am?" Rebekah smiled and nodded.
After the movie was over.
"I'll see tomorrow at school. Okay?" she asked. Rebekah nodded slowly,not smiling. "Are you okay?" Ginger asked. "Y-yes". She replied. She turned away quickly but walked away slowly. Ginger bit her lips and went inside. She thought that Rebekah was acting really weird. She wondered what was wrong. Her parents couldn't have been fighting.
