#emotion/fear

You're spreading your wings into this big wide world. I watch you walk out the door, keys in hand and I remember how you twirled.

With tutu on and a heart of innocence Let the instruction of the wider world now commence.

Be home by ten Text if you'll be late Don't drink and drive Pick wise playmates.

This sense of fear has taken such a hold on me There are so many ways to be hurt, why is everyone so carefree?

Poor Brianna Dennison snatched from that apartment near campus. Found dead in a field and now with your safety I am obsessed.

I must know precisely where you are when you're out past eight. My constant vigilance will prevent a similar fate.

If you don't check in when you say you will I begin to hyperventilate I have worry overkill.

With your Father here to support me, I've managed to set you free But I'm still freaking out inside thinking of countless possibilities.

It's so late and we haven't heard from you yet And here's your stupid Father sleeping soundly in the bed.

How dare he be so peaceful when there's likely a tragedy or possibly bloodshed! So he gets a rude awakening with swift smack to the head.

"What's wrong with you! Don't you know it's time to take action?!" As he glares at me, rubbing his head suggesting its an over reaction.

"You just don't know what may have transpired! Better safe than sorry, so let's go searching, I don't care if you're tired!"

But then! A key in the door Your home safe It's such a relief We can rest easy now With no more grief.

Please call when late to avoid repercussion Or your poor Father may end up with a debilitating concussion!
