I can't see in the dark,

But I feel the eyes on me.

Watching from who knows where,

I wonder what they could be.

A little girl down the halls she race,

Looks like someone,

Took scissors to her face,

Maybe a psychopath man,

Breathing on my neck,

Feels like a fan.

Maybe a soul that lingers.

Hidden by a black veil,

White hands and boney fingers.

Gives me goosebumps.

Lights on, refuse to blink.

In the night I hear thumps.

Feel hands on my shoulder,

Turn around and nobody's there,

And I know what you concur,

Laugh that's what people do,

But see how you react,

When the eyes are watching you.
