I opened the door and it was dark. They must've turned off all the lights. The curtains were dark so I couldn't much even with the evening sun out. I walked in the first room and checked under the counters and under the tables and they weren't in this room. I checked my watch 5:56. 4 minutes to find them. I ran through out the house and checked all the closets and under all the tables. 5:59. "GAME OVER!! GAME OVER GAME OVER GAME OVER!!!" I started shouting. I heard a door open. "Max? Josie?" I asked. "Adam" his voice rang out. I ran over to him. 6:00 o'clock. No flames yet. "fire starts now and I can't find Max and Josie." I said extremely panicked. "you get downstairs, I get upstairs" he said and bolted to the hallway that lead to the stairs. "MAX! JOSIE!?!?" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I heard giggles to my left. I ran down the hallway when something stopped me dead in my tracks. I smelled smoke. I looked behind me and saw the cabinet in my living room completely ablaze. There was a dark figure standing in front of it. I couldn't see him very good. Just the shadows. He sprinted out of the room. I followed him as fast as I could. It was hard when the smoke was making you light headed. I ran into the bathroom where I had followed him, he wasn't there. The fire hadn't gotten to the bathroom yet but there was lots of smoke. I got on my hands and knees and crawled through the room. My bracelet got snagged on the shower curtain. The shower curtain completely tore off. I heard screams that were closer now. I looked in the bath tub and there was Josie and Max they were screaming. I grabbed Max and motioned for Josie to follow me. We crawled out the bathroom and into the hallway. The smoke was completely covering the house now, I could hardly see. We crawled our way to the door that lead to the deck. They ran out into the yard where there was fresh air. I stood back with them and saw the left side and entire upper story was engulfed with flames. Then I remembered. Adam.
