"Adam said nobody was even there" Alyssa replied. I sighed with relief. Adam is Alyssa's boyfriend, his dad is a firefighter. "by the way, Adam's walking with us today." she said. We kept walking to until we got to his house, he ran out and gave Alyssa a kiss on the cheek then put his arm around her and started walking. When we got to school nobody was talking about the fire, that made me feel good.
~after school~
I flipped my phone open and dialed Alyssa's number after a few rings I heard a familiar hello. "wanna go to the mall today?" I asked Alyssa. "sorry can't, I'm hanging out with Adam" she replied. "oh ok!" I said and hung up. I heard a small metal bang, the mailbox being opened. The mail had already been delivered today.. I opened the door and there was another one of those envelopes that I got the night of the fire. I stared at if for a few seconds, it read April Gray in those fancy letters like the last time. I quickly opened it. On a piece of notebook paper read 3 places and one time "Smokey Saloon", "59 second street", "Steven's Auto Parts", at the very bottom in big letters it read "12:30" I stood there not knowing what it meant, there had to be more. I flipped it over and in red pen it scrawled out "choose wisely"
