Is it just me or does everyone look half naked, Wearing next to nothing, this past week has been quite complicated
Well actually I tell I lie It's pretty easy to understand, The sun has shown its face again and shined right through the land
No. this can't be true you say, well let me tell you once more Its been so hot, I almost forgot, how much buckets of sweat one could pour
And when I thought it wouldn't last , the next day did prove me wrong, As I was sweltering and considered leaving my house in a thong
The amount of praise the sun has received is far too much to measure, I guess I can't complain as it was a change from the usual British weather
You see I'm not a fan of the sun, as heat is not my thing, I'd rather swim in a sea of ice, then lay on a field sunbathing,
Ok let's be real now I do like a bit of sun, as long as there is a beautiful breeze to gently follow on
So let's give thanks for the weather, which kept us all happy and sane, As I can surely predict next week as, Cloudy with torrential rain!
