Finnick: As I wander through the small woodland area, I notice she's already arrived, built a fire, finished a number of nets, and is sat, watching the blue waves that shimmer like thousands of diamonds. I sneak up behind her and place my hands over her eyes. "Guess who?" she starts giggling. "Finnick? Finnick is that you?" I take the tiny, feeble kitten from my pocket and place it in her lap. She cradles it in her arms as it buries it's head into her. She is wearing a white strappy dress with a pale yellow flower tucked behind her ear. She looks up at me with bright, eager, wild blue eyes and embraces me, wrapping her arms around my neck. She gives me a quick, gentle kiss on the cheek, lets go and smiles shyly. "Thank you."

"So I'm guessing you like your present then, huh?"

"Yes, but why would you bother giving gifts to me?"

"Well, It's the reaping tomorrow and I thought it would take your mind off it, you know, occupy you."

The smile slips from her face."oh, I completely forgot." A tear rolls down her cheek and she quickly wipes it away, putting on a brave face, but I can see through the mask. "Look, would you like me to take you there in the morning, so you don't feel too scared?"

"um...yes, please. You could spend the night too if you like, I have one spare blanket you could borrow for the night." I agree and we spend the rest of the day fishing and tormenting the cat. When the sun starts to go down, we put the fish in a bucket and the kitten in the basket and head to her house.
