At what point does one disregard the morals you live by, to stop the genuine idiots you have to work with, from fcukin you over.

I have played by the rules and been the bigger person in the past even though it made me look degraded and undermined my authority.

More recently a similar situation has developed. My manager (whom I am assistant to) doesn't seem to back me up when it comes to the crunch. Would one go above my immediate superior or stand ones ground more firmer than previous occasions?

I consider my self an all round nice guy who is a firm but fair boss doin much more than is expected of me. But this s#*t has to stop!!

I just don't want to become the very people that are causing me grief. I think I'm better than that but I'm at the point of just not caring any more!

What would you do!?
