Best Friends

We first met in 3rd grade,
What a joy,
We were unsure at first,
Not quite close,

But after days and weeks,
We got to know eachother,
We bonded,
And got close,
We loved being together,

We thought to ourselves,
We r so alike,
We looked like sisters,
At first sight

We played sports together,
It was so much fun,
Laughing and joking
We were both number one,

As we grew older,
We grew apart,
One bad fight,
Ruined the night,

We stopped talking,
Hung out with new people,
Forgot about the past,
And move on to the future,

But we bumped into eachother,
At the movies one night,
We gave eachother a glare,
But we could see the hurt in eachothers eyes,

We made up that night,
And now were good friends,
We hangout all the time,
Until the very end.
