You once were a gorgeous tulip, It's delicate pedals in full bloom, But now you are as cold and bitter as ice, Your distance and presences farther than the moon,

You once were the trusty vorpal sword, Alice used to slay the jabberwocky, But now your a deceiver at the heart, Your wicked road becoming raging and rocky,

You once were a battered soldier, Thrown on the front line to fight, Yet now you are a coward, Running away as the deadly truth comes into sight,

You once were a faithful dog, Protecting your owner with all your love and soul, But the lantern shows your true colors, And your heart made of thorns and oh so very hollow,

You once were the man, That I loved with all my might, Yet guilt and pain, Is all you seem to recite,

You once were you, No one plain and no one used, You'd never think of hurting anyone, Nor ever leaving a bruise,

You lost yourself in the fame, You lost your self in the lights, Becoming harsh and brutal characters, That are far from your reach of heights,

You once were you, Yet now your gone, Yet you still think, You've done nothing wrong,

You don't know who you are, Or who you even were, Yet a messed up life, Is all then can assure,

You once were happy, Why'd you change, Was just being you, Really that deranged?
