I always loved it When the heavens Turn grey and dark
Raindrops would fall Touhing the ground
The haunting sound Of the rain when they fall Would echo around The rush of the town
When the rain drops I would stare out at the clouds Staring in mock sadness Like just about everyone around
But when the rain rushes down It can make the pain fade Maybe because it feels Like God's crying my tears
Well I love the rain Because it eases pain And that's also why I can smile so bright when the sun comes up the very next day
