When I turned forty I decided to do something interesting each year. The first year I decided it was time I learned to swim. I cant say I ever enjoyed it but I did manage to achieve it. The next year I took a lesson in flying a plane! I really enjoyed that but didn't have the funds to continue, glad I tried it though. The next year was to take up horse riding again, that was fun despite the fact that I found getting up into the saddle difficult, strange as I had no problem when I was fifteen . Next dog showing caught my interest, that gripped me with a passion that wiped out all ambition for any new annual experiences. It focused all of my attention, to the exclusion of all else, until my dog became a champion. It was great fun and one of the greatest regrets of my life. That was when my annual jaunts ended, now my ambition is to see my family healthy and happy.
