As Tom's poems seem to be well received I thought I would explain why it's me posting them.
Tom is my age and does not have a computer. He writes in longhand and is happy with that. He has won awards for his writing in the past but has no interest in seeking fame, although he is pleased when his work is appreciated.
Tom's joy comes from nature, the birds, wildlife and plants and his family of course. He is a vegetarian and holds strong views on kindness and cruelty.
He demonstrated against the bomb, the war in Vietnam and holds strong views on the subject of might over right.
I am writing this in the hope it will explain more clearly the themes of more of his poems that I intend posting.
He is a kind man who I hope won't kill me when he sees what I have written!
