Impatiently I paced around the gates outside of school. Jack told me to meet him here, although I'm not to sure why. Prom was coming up and... Hang on, is he..? No, he can't be. He's an actor so he'll probably ask a model.. Probably just wants my help on some English homework or something. Finally he walked out the school doors and to where I was standing, with me smiling and waving when he came over. "Kitty! You waited! Sorry I was just getting the latest script." I nodded and replied. "It's fine! I know how much acting means to you, an of course I'll wait your my best friend." Smiling -God, I love his smile- He then looked down as if he was nervous. "Anyway, what I wanna ask you.." Then he lifted his head and looked at me. "Your my best mate, so.. Will you go to the prom with me?" My eyes went wide as my heart started racing with my cheeks turning bright red. Dreaming, I'm dreaming.. Secretly I pinched myself behind my back. Nope. Awake. Best day ever. Act cool Kitty. Cool. "Why sure I can! But of course only as mates." I said smiling. He smiled back again as we walked home as usual, telling me about his new script. To some it may be boring, but not to me. Telling me his ideas on how the script could improve of he said that and if this happened. He's got amazing ideas. Eventually we reached my house. "See you tonight?" "Yep! See ya Kitty." He said with a wave as he walked off. After he'd gone, I found myself screaming like a fan girl and clapping my hands frantically while jumping. I ACTUALLY got a date! An with HIM! Quickly I then darted upstairs, up into my room and quizzed through my wardrobe. I didn't order a prom dress since I didn't expect to be asked, but I then found a small red dress decorated with a black rose design. Very me considering I love black, red AND roses. Along with it I slipped on some black high heels, curled the tips of my hair into ringlets and did my make up, the usual red lipstick, mascara and eye liner with glitter eye shadow. I just hope he likes it. Eventually I then reached school, everyone already dancing with their partners. Walking down the stairs, I noticed Jack and waved as he waved back. He saw me, but what he thought of my appearance I don't know. We just sat beside the buffet and talked about the usual stuff, smiling and laughing about life. Then he asked me for a dance, and of course I immediately accepted! It felt magical. As if my feet were moving for me. Like a dream. Just me and him. But then the song ended. Sadly. "Just gonna pop for a drink, alright Kitty?" I nodded and smiled again as he walked off. While day dreaming, some guy grabbed my hand and pulled me to the side. "No date girl?" He asked. I snatched my hand away from him. "No I do. He's gone to get a drink." I snapped stubbornly. The boy then chuckled, getting closer to me as I backed away. Eventually I was pinned against the wall with some guy I didn't know, as he then pulled me outside and pinned me to the wall again. "C'mon girl.. Make this night worth it." he whispered as he started running his hand up my dress. I screamed and kicked him to the floor. "Who do you think I am? Get away from me!" I screamed as I ran to the door to get back in. However the boy grabbed my arm, pulling me back and punching my face with full force into the pavement. Shocked into silence, I couldn't move. I screamed once as he kicked my back, then crying. I wanted to disappear. Someone help me. Save me. Clutching my eyes shut. Not wanting to know what was going to happen next. Shouting. Jack.. Help!!
