There was a small young fairy,

Who lived in a sleepy wood hollow.

However, she was different to the rest

As the rules she did not follow!

Instead of wearing dresses of petals,

And her hair neatly tie back,

She wore a dress of black bats wing,

And her hair all scruffy and black.

While the other fairies fluttered by,

And did their daily work,

She just did nothing, the lazy girl!

All the others thought "What a jerk!"

But little did know that,

This little fairy see,

Was actually quite busy,

Like a little bee!

She was actually the princess,

Of black bat cave,

And the prince of this hollow,

Is who she did crave!

Each time he glided past,

Her heart began to flutter,

But whenever she tried to speak,

All she could do was stutter!

But one day the prince was lost,

And got in grave danger,

As while foraging for berries,

Was caught by a goblin ranger.

The little rebellious fairy,

Stood up with a mind so brave.

And she declared that

The prince is who she'd save.

The fairies didn't believe her,

In fact all they did was blink.

But with a cheeky grin,

She gave a quick wink.

She used her dark magic,

And whisked up a spell,

A brilliant nightmare-ish illusion,

Real or not, can't tell!

It scares the goblin ranger,

So much he ran and cried,

So the little rebellious fairy,

Got the love which she has prized!
