Revision

The very mention of its name strikes fear into my heart.

It means many things.
Sleepless nights.
Baked beans and pasta. For breakfast.
Scrumpled paper strewn across the floor.
A rapid change in your Internet search history.
More academia, less of everything else.
Except Facebook.
Wikipedia becomes a god.
Headaches.
Time speeds up.
Days simply disappear.
Everything but work is suddenly irresistible.
The sunshine mocks you.
It never rains.
Until you step outside.
Your vocabulary decreases.
You dowt your one speling.
The shower misses you.
The bed wishes you would go away.
Cake.
Cake is important.
Schedules are created.
Schedules are ignored.
You stay in your room.
You go insane.

Revision.

Already insane...hv no time to go to bed :( this piece is great! X

Lol I know the feeling 😔 it's mental what that word does to us lmao haha

@kivihe @aleishagayle20 Thanks guys! I just needed to put into words how revision is currently making me feel.

@curiouscraig lol best way too be express yourself this app is defo the place to be 😘

You understand my life at the moment. Argh! Thanks for putting it in to such brilliant words! Though beans and pasta for breakfast are pushing it, I'll stick with quiche. 😜

This is actually me right now! You just put my life in words :P

@naaviie @IndiaSparrow I know what you guys are going through! Quiche for breakfast is an idea haha. What exams are you studying for?

English literature, biology, chemistry, Latin, ancient Greek and general studies :P I have a lot to do!

@IndiaSparrow Wow, you certainly do! Is this GCSE?

@curiouscraig @IndiaSparrow - perhaps it is a comfort that we're all in the same boat! I've got 8 vet exams in the next 2 weeks - ekkk!!! (gotta try the quiche at least once 😝)

@IndiaSparrow - jeez that's a lot of a-levels?!

@naaviie I feel slightly lucky now that I only have 2 exams. They are on two consecutive days, and have a deciding factor in my transition to honours at uni though...

Ah so they're a-levels? I do apologise - I only know the Scottish education system.

@curiouscraig - ah well, every exam is important. I'm sure you'll do well. It's my own silly fault I have 8, I chose to do two years at once!

@naaviie Thanks, the same to you :) Veterinary is a longer degree, isn't it?

No AS level! So no social life (except writing for opuss) for just under two months!

A-levels are scary, and I did choose too many at once I think @naaviie and @curiouscraig, but it's going to be worth it! I bet you guys will do well, and good luck for anymore exams :D

@IndiaSparrow Thanks! Good luck to you too :)

@curiouscraig @IndiaSparrow - yup, vet med is usually 5 or 6 years but I'm spin it in 4yrs. A-levels are worth it - work hard! Have the summer off!! 😝 good luck to you both!

@naaviie and @curiouscraig thanks! :D

@naaviie @curiouscraig @naaviie @IndiaSparrow best of luck to all of you

@ckahn Thankyou
