The meme I scatter through time and space, All to lead myself up to this place, That I may assuage the Doctor's gravest night. But, somehow, this feels so... right.
I carry all knowledge boiling within, Kept trapped by a body stretched too thin. I see the stars born, races fall and rise; Not a moment escapes these golden eyes.
And yet, power lies also in my stead: The Daleks vanished by me, dead, Yet to Jack I brought life instead. I command all... But, why then this dread?
I, who know the affairs of the universe, In this, this pain, I am unversed. Know not I how this came to be worst, But I fear, I tremble, I burst.
Doctor... You warned me of this, Yet I, too blinded by the light, I pulled from your hand my wrist, And now never will I behold you in sight.
Dear Doctor, would you dance with me? I guess I'd give myself for your eternity. Don't despair, as I would have over you; Please go back, be safe in your TARDIS blue. Don't look at me like that, so fearful, stern: I'll love you even as I... burn...
