She was alone, he was too shy..
They both met in a library,
Where books were piled high...
She was sitting on the floor, reading the best of Poe..
He dropped the comics in his hand, when his heart screamed, 'Look out Below!!'
My oh my, what a mesmerising sight, her face full of beauty and oh those pretty blue eyes..
She looked at him strictly and mouthed a 'shush!!', He bent down silently meaning to pick his books..
But Captain America had lost his interest and Wonder Woman didn't really excite...
He suddenly fell in love with poetry and grabbed a book on his right...
Sat down beside her and concentrated on not meeting her sight...
I'd like to think that they sat and read poetry to each other that night....
While the moonlight glimmered through the windows and the stars shined bright...
Maybe they even got married and did much more...
Honeymooning in the Mauritius and built a home near the shore.
They would hold hands together when the evenings were cold, him with his Comics and her with her Poe....
Or maybe this is all wishful thinking and this story does not have such a lovely ending...
Maybe they never got together instead went on their separate walks...
Because there is a strict rule in Libraries:
You are not allowed to Talk!!
