The dark side of life
Has called out my name
Causing pain and strife
Discomfort and shame

I have no blue skies
No dreams to behold
Around my sad eyes
The tightest blindfold

Unable to see
My heart's led astray
My sad destiny
A dark alley way

Never no sunlight
There's nothing but gloom
Only thing in sight
My impending doom

Hanging with losers
The hookers and thugs
Junkies and boozers
Engaging in drugs

Then while walking through
This world of misfits
I fall down into
A bottomless pit

Although it's pitch black
I hear a voice shout
"There's no turning back
You cannot climb out

There's nothing for thee
To grab a hold of
Your new destiny
A place without love

Wickedness and sin
Was your life's delight
So never again
Will you see The Day Light

You're in my dark hole
Where I call the shots
For your blackened soul
I'm now casting lots."

Tossing and turning
I fill with despair
Body is burning
It's Satan I hear

Indistinct and feint
Voice cuts like a knife
Forever I'll paint
The dark side of life
