Did you know L'oreal now own the body shop...I'm guessing they aren't as ethical as they once were βΊ
@sjw I think that particular take-over happened a good few years ago now and there was controversy over it all back then. A R was known for her ethical ways in her company when she owned it, but the problems seemed to certainly begin when L'Oreal took it over (as I remember it, A R sold out to them and people were up in arms that she'd sold out to the not-so-ethical giant - They were concerned about many issues, including The Body Shop's initial 'no animal testing' reputation, now possibly to come to an end under L'Oreal. Not sure what happened in the end - be interested to know though .......
@MrsS yes your right, one of the girls who work in their Brixton branch told me she doesn't buy from them anymore so I think that speaks volumes! I think Lush is a safer option plus it's all natural ingredients that always gets the thumbs up from me ππ
@sjw ππ Although, I often feel like I'll have some kind of fume-induced-wheezing-attack just walking past Lush!!! But it does smell pretty yummy ππ
@MrsS lmao my niece is exactly the same! Whenever I take her shopping she says "I'm not going in that smelly shop it makes me wheeze" I love it x
