Looking out the window, On a cold and frosty day, Watching little birds chirp, It's sad, I have to say,
I wish I was outside, Playing, having fun, I'm an outdoorsy type of cat, you see, I like to leap, jump and run,
I sit here by the fireplace, Muttering curses to Jack Frost, It's not fair, being inside, Cooped up all sweaty and hot,
Chasing little snowflakes, Pouncing on heaps of snow, But my owners hate it you see, A million times I've wanted to go,
I want to be out there, Exploring, tree to tree, Instead I'm trapped in here, Oh, how I wish I was free.
