Queen of the ocean, commander of stars, Destroyer of the sunbeam scars,
Goddess of the moon, brilliance and glow, It is she who makes diamonds out of snow,
Her light falls on the earth like gentle tears, Slowly washing away yesterday's fears,
Darkness is banished, fled from the light, For Mother Moon rarely needs a reason to fight,
Lighter of pathways, luminescent, true, With clouds in her path, she finds a way through,
The healer of wounds, evil and despair, Creator of tides, she shall forever care,
The great orb of hope, some used to say, For never shall she hide away,
Mother Moon, so wondrous to see, Mother Moon, strong, wild, free.
