Crashing through the icy surface, slowing down the fall, But once beneath, the wondrous blue, I feel no pain at all,

Shoals of fish shimmer slightly, as I swim gently past, Coral in waves of vibrant colours, small things dart so fast,

Giant tendrils of seaweed, quite ominous from here, The wonders underneath wipe any traces of tears,

Far off the coloured reef side, I see a clouded shape, A whale of massive size, dark waters as its cape,

I push myself along, the water holds me back, I see the last sliver of light go out without a lack,

I feel as though nothing matters, like I can hide down here, From the troubles of the real world, I close my eyes, no fear.
