I am Ysera, the dragon of life, On shimmering wings I fly, Across vast oceans and through stormy skies, Never to wither, never to die,
A lonely life is the one I must live, The only one of my kind, But I must live on, I must preserve, The life of a guardian is shrouded, blind,
When I gaze upon a sunset mist, I dream of simpler things, I wish for the life of a regular, I must carry this sadness on the tip of my wings,
A guardian must do her duty, She can never let the world down, But I am here because she before me, Was the one who handed darkness the crown,
My faith, my power, my life is the earth, I am it's servant, pure and true, An earthbound guardian has no objection, To showing the world what she can do,
I am Ysera, the dragon of life, Infinite glory, never to die, For when darkness lives, and the egg is cracked, Life is new and a dragon will fly.
