As the church bells Rings the familiar sound as they do every morning I know it's just a matter of minutes before Cassie comes running to my small room As like the bells happen every morning, the bells frighten little Cassie as they did me when I was a young one So very long ago.
I can hear the wood creaking softly under her feet as she's running up the stairs, as the church bells keep ringing louder each time the bell swings back and forth
When Cassie makes it to my room she jumps in my bed under the covers Puts her hands to her ears pushing hard trying to block out the bells, when the bells stop Cassie's instant Unfrightened she runs back to her room and sleeps the day away.
Till once more the big church bell make that familiar sound.
